Most satisfying results
Obviously today is one of the most satisfying results this season especially being the first team to do them in at their new ground but what for you are your top 3-5 satisfying results? You know the ones where you’re really left grinning that we did someone over?

What Fergie forgets when he moans about us pulling out all the stops to deny them the title in 94\\95 is that a few weeks before that game we'd beaten Blackburn. If not for that they'd have won the title a week earlier.

Still got to be the 1964 fa cup semi final against Man Utd.
I went to Hillsborough expecting us to get a bit of a hiding as the equivalent now would be Huddersfield v Man City.
Only the real old boys on this site would know what I mean.
This was the days when Cassius Clay was just starting to make his mark on the world scene.
Coming out after the match can always remember this huge West Ham fan walking up to a load of Man Utd fans and saying "We weren't just the greatest we were the prettiest."

The 2nd time they stuck Peter S upfront. Then all their fans moaned on 606 that Blackburn had bought the title.

We've stopped them winning the title twice. Once when Kenny Brown scored - I believe dirty Leeds won the league instead - and the Blackburn title win was courtesy of a 1-1 draw with Man U with Ludo playing a blinder...

When we stopped Man U winning the league and Blackburn won it instead was a fond memory of mine as a kid.

So many but the first to come to mind-

Liverpool 0-3 West Ham was beautiful cos I truly believed it was one of those things I would never see in my lifetime. I remember my dad moaning about it in the70s! He would have loved that one!

The Arsenal Highbury last
Golden period under Pardew,I can remember thinking we were really on the way up. Mug. Again.

The Arsenal Emirates first.
I think Arsenal had 30+ attempts and Bobby Zamoras superb lob from our only attack won the game and the great escape was on.
Arsenal fans so gutted it was us AGAIN!

Beating Bolton on the way to the FA Cup Final Bolton always seemed to beat us home and away around that time and remember how sweet it was especially with their fat arsed twat of a manager pissing and moaning how Harewood was offside!

And ALWAYS loved beating Ipswich...don’t really know why.
One of those irrational hatred things for me.

West Ham 7 - 0 Leeds United 1966 on a Monday night

I was at that game arsene and Leeds were the Man city of the day and fielded a very strong side they didn't know what hit them.

It’s good to beat Spurs,a local rival, but I feel much more satisfied when we beat a big club.

Southampton away this season was particularly pleasing. It was end of December injuries mounting up, saints fans giving it the big un behind police as usual.

Then Anderson turned it on, great night

Re: Most satisfying results
I saw a massive depiction of the FA Cup with the title "Arsenal, FA Cup Winners 1980" chalked on someone's back garden wall, in Stockwell, near the Surprise pub, on the Thursday before the Cup Final.

Strangely, it had completely vanished a week later...

Re: Most satisfying results
1980 cup final .a week , possibly 2, before ,arsenal supporters were giving me grief on the train saying they were going to stuff us. I can't remember who we had just played , but think they had just bored out a 0-0 with Forest .perhaps someone could do some homework and see if my memory serves me right . I caught up with one of them weeks later, just passing, I had a very broad grin but said nothing.

Re: Most satisfying results
When we beat them before our real cup final in 2006, stopping them from getting in the Champions League.

Beating them at home in 2016 and 2017, finishing their chance of winning the league.

Beating Man Utd away in the cup, when Di Canio put the ball past Barthez.
